Digital Asset Management

Building and maintaining a consistent brand is already a challenge, but it is intensified when these companies are franchised. Deskfy solves these problems by creating a single source of truth for the brand.

Problem

How to reduce the time spent by marketing teams with customization and distribution of digital assets?

Solution

Automating unnecessary processes through digital asset management.

Intro

Going from advertisements on social media to institutional videos, marketing teams work daily with “digital assets” (all materials distributed by these teams, such as videos, images, vectores, fonts, logos, etc.).As a product designer at Deskfy, I helped build some of the main modules of the tool that aims to help manage these assets.

Files

The basis for managing digital assets is Files, where teams can store, organize, categorize and share assets.

Projects

Teams from other areas can request marketing materials through Deskfy, so all assets are centralized on the same platform. These requests are managed in the Projects, a private area of the marketing team.

Home

The platform's homepage is the place capable of summarizing the main information for members: open requests, institutional announcements, and the main materials available.

Interface library

Being the only product designer in a small but fast pace company, required a very high level of organization. With that in mind, I set up an interface library with all the components designed for the platform.

Even though it was an internal project, some objectives were set to guarantee the success of the initiative:

• Reduce the time to design new features for the platform;
• Simplify the development process for the tech team;
• Ensure a consistent customer experience within the product;

Feedbacks

The development team feels the immediate impact of keeping these deliverables well documented. Hearing from they that the work of developing became easier just by maintaining a product library in Figma made me wonder how incredible it would be to add some levels of integration within this process.
